Commandos: Origins – No Man Left Behind:
The Missing Chapter You Didn't Know You Needed
You finished the main
campaign and thought you had the whole story. You didn't. Commandos: Origins
– No Man Left Behind fills the gap the base game skipped—how the Green
Beret actually ended up in that prison. Four missions, one rescue, and a new
enemy type that'll mess with your usual stealth routine. Want the full story? Download
it.
Game Information
Commandos: Origins –
No Man Left Behind is the second DLC
from Claymore Game Studios and Kalypso Media. It launched April 28, 2026, on
PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, and Xbox One and Series X|S.
The base game opens
with Jack O'Hara already locked up and never explains how. This DLC drops you
into that missing moment. You're the Green Beret, extracting an allied
informant in occupied France's Auvergne region. It goes wrong. O'Hara gets
captured. Now the Sniper, Spy, and Sapper have to go back in and get him out.
Four new missions, new map, new objectives—nothing recycled here.
Game Features
The Radio Operator
Changes Everything. Kill this new enemy
type before cutting his communication line and he triggers a global alarm.
You have to disable signal enhancers first, cut enemy comms, then strike. In
the base game a global alarm often helped you because guards abandoned posts.
Here it means you already failed the stealth layer.
Four Missions, One
Story. These missions bridge
straight into the main campaign. You learn what led to O'Hara's capture,
uncover intel on a German superweapon prototype, and see the rescue from the
squad's side. No filler.
New Faces and
Prisoners. An informant and
fellow prisoners show up across the map. Some you free, some hand over intel,
and all of them make stealth feel like it matters.
The Full Toolkit
Returns. All six commandos are
playable, with Sniper, Spy, and Sapper leading the rescue. Command Mode works
like you remember—pause time, queue actions, execute together. Spy disguises,
Sapper traps, Sniper takedowns—all intact.
Game Guide Line
Step One: Cut the
Lines First. Spot a Radio Operator
near a communication array? Leave him alone until every signal enhancer in the
zone is down. Kill him early and you've guaranteed a global alarm.
Step Two: Use the
Night. The Auvergne missions
have nighttime forest sections where enemy vision shrinks in the dark. Crawl
along the edge of their sightline and stay unseen. No standing. No sprinting.
Step Three: Spy Leads
the Way. Send the Spy in enemy
uniform to scout the construction site before Sniper and Sapper move in. He
can't disguise as officers—keep him clear of snipers and officers who see
through cover.
Step Four: Save
Constantly. One slip snowballs
into a global alarm, and that means replaying a section you already solved.
Quick-save before every engagement and after every clean takedown. The old
save-scumming habit from the original games is alive and well here.
Step Five: Don't Skip
the Prototype. The rescue ties
directly into superweapon intel. Rush the rescue and skip the intel objectives,
and you miss the narrative thread that makes this DLC worth playing. Explore
the construction site. Read the documents.
System Requirements
Minimum: Windows 10 (64-bit), Intel Core i5-4690K or AMD Ryzen 7
2700, 8 GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 or AMD Radeon RX 580, DirectX 11, 31 GB
available space, SSD recommended, FSR upscaling available.
That 31 GB covers the
base game install. The DLC barely adds anything on top since it reuses core
assets. Already own the base game? The download is small.
Download Commandos:
Origins – No Man Left Behind if you want the full story. The base campaign is solid. This
DLC makes it complete. O'Hara's waiting. Go get him.
